This is my favourite Christmas post!!!! Thank you! We have three kiddos and only a few of these books, so I will start next year’s Christmas wish list now!
What a gorgeous list! So much inspiration from just your selections alone (what a great way to start the day!) but will definitely be adding some of these to our collection.
Thank you for this post! Every one of these is beautiful!!!
I'm going to have to come in and ask you to help me find a hard cover copy of Little Tree by E.E. Cummings and illustrated by Deborah Kogan Ray. I left my copy in Honduras in 2002, and every time I go into a bookstore, I look for a copy. It is beautiful, too! Feliz Navidad!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the post! And I just looked up that book you mentioned-- it is SO beautiful. Thank you for the recommendation! Adding it to my list!
A few new ones for me, Rebekah! Can truly say that I have missed all of my Christmas books this season as we didn't travel back to Charlotte for the holidays and we don't yet have a library (or house to put it in) here in the mountains! I, too, always took them all down with grand plans and would put them away with some disappointment each season. Now I can see that just the ritual of bringing them all down from the high shelf and gathering them into our living room and displaying them about the house was ritual enough.
One of my personal favorites that I feel blessed to have a part of our library – Take Joy! by Tasha Tudor.
Amber, thank you for this lovely comment! It means a lot to have you say, as you look back, that the ritual was enough. I love Take Joy by Tasha Tudor, too! Miss you and all your boys and all our nature lessons together! <3

Bethany, a beautiful Christmas book post, thank you!♥
Ahhhhh… Lizbeth Zwerger’s Gift of the Magi. My favorite edition!
